Upcoming Permaculture Design Courses

PDX Permaculture Institute offers several in-person PDC formats and all courses are accredited by the Permaculture Institute of North America.The PDC Intensive spans 11 days in the summer and is ideal for out-of-state participants and those who enjoy taking a residential-style course. The Weekend PDC meets one weekend per month from October through May and is a good fit for those who are more local and have weekday commitments.

Summer Intensive PDC

For 2025, the dates for the summer PDC Intensive will be July 20-30 at Jean's Urban Forest Farm in Portland, Oregon. This course offers food and lodging options and is most ideal for participants from out of the area and those who prefer the most immersive learning community experience.

One Weekend per Month PDC

This course will run from October 2025 to May 2026 and will meet for one weekend per month primarily at Jean's Urban Forest Farm. This course option provides more time and spaciousness for the learning process. It is ideal for participants living in the Portland area who have weekday commitments. Lunches are included.
